You can now update your phone number directly from the Vancelian app.
How do I request a phone number change?
- Go to Profile
- Under My Account, select Personal Information
- Tap on Phone Number
- Tap Edit
- Enter your new phone number
- Enter the verification code sent by SMS to your new number
- Complete the required biometric identity verification
Once these steps are completed, your number will be updated and a confirmation message will appear, informing you that you will be automatically signed out of the app. To finalise the change:
- Sign in with your new phone number
- Enter the verification code received by SMS
What should I do if I cannot update my number from the app?
If you experience any difficulties or are unable to make the change yourself, please contact our customer support team.
Your request must be accompanied by proof of your new phone line, meeting the following requirements:
- Be in your full name and registered to the same address as the one on your account
- Be dated less than 3 months ago
- Clearly state the new line's number
- Be provided in its original format (document downloaded from your operator's website)
Once your request has been validated, the change will be carried out by our team.
Please note
- The number must be registered in your name and linked to a line held in your name
- Any incomplete request may be declined
- Vancelian reserves the right to accept or decline any modification request
