You can close your Vancelian account directly from your application, provided that all your wallets and vaults are empty.
We recommend downloading your statements before completing the closure.
Steps to close your account:
- From the home page, click on Profile (top left)
- Scroll down to the Settings section
- Select Security and privacy
- Click on Close account (bottom of the page)
- Confirm your choice twice to finalise the request
What conditions must be met before closing?
Before you can close your account, you must:
- Empty all your vaults and wallets, including your balances in euros and cryptoassets
- Ensure that no assets are held on your account
Without this, the account closure will not be possible.
If you hold projects with a commitment period
If you are participating in a project with a fixed commitment period (for example an Exclusive Offer or an investment product with a fixed duration), the account closure cannot be completed until the end of the commitment period.
Once the project has matured and the funds have been released, you will be able to submit the closure request from the application.
