It is now possible to transfer funds in euros, as well as cryptoassets, to a contact who has the Vancelian app, directly from your account.
The advantage is that you can send euros to a Vancelian user, but also any of the cryptoassets available on the app and without any fees.
The minimum amount required to use this feature is €1 (or equivalent), and the maximum amount that can be transferred to a contact is €50,000 or the equivalent in cryptoassets.
Please note that these limits may also be subject to the caps associated with your account level in the app. For more information, please refer to the article: What are account levels?
To transfer funds to your contacts, you will need the phone number of the Vancelian user concerned.
To send funds to your contacts who have the Vancelian app:
- Tap the "Send" button from the homepage
- Select "Contact transfer"
- Grant access to your contacts (this will only be requested during your first contact transfer, if accepted)
- Select a contact
- Tap the "Send" button
- Configure the transfer (you can choose the amount, currency or cryptoasset, and add a note if needed...)
- Confirm the transfer (a confirmation page will appear with the recipient's details)
- To finalise the transfer, a verification code received by SMS must be entered
