Verifying your proof of address confirms your residential address and validates your Level 2 verification. This step is mandatory to use your account.
Depending on the status shown in the app, your document may be under review or have been rejected.
Why is my address verification still pending?
If your document is marked as “under review”, this means our team is manually checking your document.
You will be notified by e-mail once the verification is complete.
This process can take up to 3 business days. If verification is still pending after 3 business days, please contact us at support@vancelian.com.
Why was my proof of address rejected?
If your document is rejected, the reason will be displayed directly in the app.
To ensure your document is accepted, please make sure it meets the following requirements:
Required conditions:
The address on the document must match the one provided during registration.
The document must:
Be one of the accepted document types
Be in your full name
Be dated within the last 3 months (except tax notices, valid for 12 months)
Be in PDF, JPEG, JPG, or PNG format
Be original and unmodified:
→ Screenshots are not accepted
→ Converted or edited documents (cropping, annotations, etc.) will not be accepted
Which documents are refused?
Bank statements or account summaries issued by non-bank affiliated institutions (e.g., N26, Wise, etc.)
Account opening certificates, fee statements, balance statements, RIB/IBAN
Mobile phone bills
Insurance certificates (except home insurance)
Insurance-related correspondence
Deferred invoices
Promotional emails
Payslips
Verification of your document may take up to 3 business days.
