How can I pay with cryptoassets using my Vancelian card?

Your Vancelian VISA card allows you to make payments directly with your cryptoassets, without manually converting them into euros.

Thanks to the Pay with cryptoassets feature, you can pay for your purchases using the cryptocurrencies you hold in your application.

Which cryptocurrencies can be used?

You can currently pay with the following three cryptoassets:

• BTC (Bitcoin)
• ETH (Ethereum)
• USDC (USD Coin)

How to activate the “Pay with cryptoassets” feature?

1. Go to the Card section (shortcut at the bottom of the screen)
2. Under the photo of your card, select Pay
3. Click on Pay with cryptocurrencies
4. Choose the cryptoasset you want to use from the list
5. Press Next
6. A window will open asking you to confirm your choice. You will see the maximum usable amount in crypto, expressed in euros (€).
7. Click Pay in [chosen crypto] to confirm and launch the payment
8. Once this step is completed, a 15-minute countdown begins: you must complete the payment before the time expires. Otherwise, the crypto transaction will be cancelled and the payment will automatically be redirected to your Euro Account.

What is split payment?

You can split a payment between your cryptoassets and your Euro Account, as long as you have sufficient funds in both.

Example: paying a €150 bill using €50 in Bitcoin and €100 from your EUR balance.

Which fees apply?

• €1 fee for any payment up to €100
• 1% fee for payments over €100

No fees apply to expired or cancelled payments before validation.

Conditions of use

To use the Pay with cryptoassets feature, you must:

• Have validated your Level 2 (Residence section) in the application
• Have an active Vancelian payment card
• Have a positive balance on your EUR account
• Hold the chosen cryptocurrency in your wallet at the time of payment

Payment limits according to your loyalty level

• Up to 80% of the value of the selected cryptoasset can be used for a payment (within the authorised limit), regardless of your loyalty level.

• You may make several payments as long as your available crypto balance allows it.
• There is no minimum amount required for payments.
