Why create an investment profile?
At Vancelian, we aim to offer solutions that are truly suited to your situation, objectives, and risk tolerance.
That’s why we ask you to define your investment profile before accessing certain products, such as Flexible or Future Vaults.
What is an investment profile?
An investment profile is a personalised assessment of your capacity and willingness to take risks, based on a structured questionnaire.
This profile considers several key aspects:
Your objectives (growing your savings, protecting capital, generating income…)
Your investment horizon (short, medium, or long term)
Your knowledge of investments
Your financial situation
Your sensitivity to market fluctuations
This profile allows us to guide you towards the products most appropriate for your situation.
Why is it mandatory?
Because we have a responsibility to recommend suitable solutions.
When you invest in a product managed by Vancelian, such as our Vaults, we must ensure it matches your profile.
This is a requirement under the European regulatory framework, but above all, it is designed to protect you and prevent unsuitable investments.
What is the suitability report?
Once your profile is established, we automatically generate a suitability report.
This regulatory document summarises your objectives, risk tolerance, and explains why certain products (like our Vaults) are accessible to you.
It also records the logic behind the allocation applied within the portfolio management provided by Vancelian.
This report is available at any time from the Investment Profile section of your account.
How long is it valid?
Your profile remains valid for 2 years.
You will be notified when your profile needs to be updated.
